Odissi is an Indian classical dance which has been handed down through generations in the state of Orissa located in east India. You can see beautiful sculptures of dancing poses in the Jagannath Temple in Puri and the Konarak Temple in Konarak. People have been inspired by their graceful and exquisite shapes.

KAZUKO Yasunobu, who is the organizer of Studio Odissi, the Indian Classical Dance Institute, provides lessons in Tokyo, Kumamoto and Fukuoka. She expresses “pleasure and gratitude of life” by dancing..  Would you like to join her class and feel the earth on your bare feet?
